The Acting Rector, Prof. Christopher Ahiakwo with the School
of Agricultural Technology and the entire Polytechnic wish to appreciate the
Technical Center for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) in Netherlands
for their technical support and donations made to the Polytechnic Library and
for the development of a faculty library for the new Agricultural Technology programmes.
The Acting Director for Academic Planning/Linkages, Dr. Mrs. Blessing Okogbue
with Dr. Kuforiji Afolabi, the Dean of School of Agricultural Technology on
Friday, 7th of August received the book donations at the Polytechnic
Liaison office from the CTA representative, Mr. Rodger Obubo who is the Group
Managing Director of the Bayelsa State Agricultural Development Company
(BADEVCO) and a Senior Special Adviser to Hon. Dickson, the Executive Governor
of Bayelsa State.

The support also extends to free subscriptions to Spore (an agro-based magazine), ICT update and a TEEAL set for 2016. TEEAL which means "The Essential Electronic Agricultural Library"
